Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

We are seeking a Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) to champion workplace safety on our construction projects across Kwajalein Atoll for one- to two years projects. If you have a strong background in safety compliance and risk assessment, this role is for you!

Responsibilities:

Enforce safety regulations and conduct site inspections.

Identify and mitigate potential hazards in the workplace

Provide safety training to employees and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.

Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements:

Certification in Occupational Safety (OSHA, CHST, or equivalent).

Proven experience as a Safety Officer in construction.

Strong knowledge of safety protocols and hazard prevention.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.
