  Position Summary

  Join our team as an SRE! You will participate in the design and implementation of our edge computing platform that is used to deploy global, scalable and secure applications. Your work includes, but not limited to, API definition, implementation, deployment, operational management, and debugging.

  

  Primary Responsibilities:

  Manage production environment by monitoring availability and alerts and promptly remediate any issues that arise in production environment

  Hands-on coding in multiple languages while considering performance, scalability, maintainability, and flexibility

  Develop tooling, processes to make sure F5 Cloud highly available, scalable and highly performant

  Design and deliver infrastructure solutions that will help build, deploy and handle the service components of the platform

  Remediate security vulnerabilities in our services, platform on regular basis

  Investigate various open source and proprietary technologies, components, libraries, tools etc. and help build a highly available, highly scalable and easily manageable system

  Partner with development teams to improve services on an on going basis

  Taking responsibility and ownership of F5 Cloud Platform software components and deliver a complete product satisfying functional, scale, performance and manageability requirements

  Participate in on-call rotation

  

  Qualifications:

  US Citizenship

  2 - 6 years of experience in technology with expertise as an SRE Developer/Operations Engineer

  Hands on experience with Python or Golang

  Solid understanding and hands on experience with Kubernetes

  Technical confidence and familiarity with DevOps tools

  Solid experience with at least one of the Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  Deep understanding of Linux and networking systems

  BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent

  The annual U.S. base pay range for this position is: $114,400.00 - $171,600.00

  F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5's differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
