  OHAI LCM CSS focusses to handle automation initiative across OHAI objective to move to OCI and maintain the security poster of Oracle CernerAbout the Role:We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer IV to join our team of talented developers. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying high-performance, scalable web applications using Java. You will be a central figure in shaping the future of our technology infrastructure, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.Responsibilities:

  Design, develop, and maintain secure and robust full-stack applications using Java spring boot, HTML, CSS,Oracle Apex, and JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS preferred).

  Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and implement solutions.

  Write clean, well-tested, and documented code adhering to best practices and design patterns.

  Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.

  Work with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.) to automate builds, deployments, and testing.

  Proactively identify and address technical challenges, suggesting innovative solutions and improvements.

  Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the software development landscape.

  Experience with API development and integrations.

  Qualifications

  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (highly preferred).

  6-10+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on Java Spring boot development.

  Proven experience building and deploying scalable web applications from scratch.

  In-depth understanding of the full-stack development landscape, including front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks).

  Proficiency in CI/CD tools and methodologies.

  Strong understanding of security best practices and implementing them in web applications.

  Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  Passion for continuous learning and improvement.

  Bonus Points:

  Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

  Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

  Experience with DevOps principles and practices.

  Responsibilities

  Work with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team on the shared full stack ownership of a collection of services and/or technology areas. Understand the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioral characteristics of production services. Responsible for the design and delivery of the mission critical stack, with focus on security, resiliency, scale, and performance. Authority for end-to-end performance and operability. Partner with development teams in defining and implementing improvements in service architecture. Articulate technical characteristics of services and technology areas and guide Development Teams to engineer and add premier capabilities to the Oracle Cloud service portfolio. Understand and communicate the scale, capacity, security, performance attributes, and requirements of the service and technology stack. Demonstrate clear understanding of automation and orchestration principles. Act as ultimate escalation point for complex or critical issues that have not yet been documented as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Utilize a deep understanding of service topology and their dependencies required to troubleshoot issues and define mitigations. Understand and explain the affect of product architecture decisions on distributed systems. Professional curiosity and a desire to a develop deep understanding of services and technologies.

  As a member of the SRE and Software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing engineering platforms for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of infrastructure, hosting the applications and building seamless automation services like image builds and deployments for clinical application delivery to clients on OCI.

  Architect and Develop:

  Lead the end-to-end development of infrastructure deployment automations, ensuring dedication, responsiveness, and scalability.

  Design and implement elegant, reusable, and maintainable code structures.

  Technical Leadership:

  Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of SRE engineers.

  Collaborate with multi-functional teams to align development strategies with overall business goals.

  Cloud Migration:

  Drive and complete cloud migration initiatives, ensuring seamless transitions to cloud-based infrastructures.

  Work closely with software developers teams to optimize cloud resources, enhance performance, and ensure scalability.

  Continuous Improvement:

  Stay abreast of industry standard methodologies, emerging technologies, and trends in devops, SRE and cloud computing.

  Implement continuous integration and delivery practices to streamline development workflows.

  Code Review and Quality Assurance:

  Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency to coding standards, and knowledge sharing within the team.

  Implement and maintain testing frameworks to ensure the reliability and resilience of applications.
