OverviewABOUT THE POSITION
VHB's growing Hauppauge NY office is seeking a Site/Civil Project Manager to support our land development projects.
Responsibilities
Develop site/civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of projects in the Industrial, Real Estate and Energy Market
Manage small, medium, and large projectsDevelop new project opportunities and manage proposal submissionsSupport preparation of land development design and permitting documentsResponsible for project financial performance and client relationsPrepare and review drawings and specifications documenting the systems designedAttend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to establish their needs and discuss design/permitting issues Supervise design team activities during Construction AdministrationManage work and development of other staffSkills and Attributes
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Proficient in site layout, grading, utility design and stormwater management Experience with real estate projects, institutional and energy projects a plusAbility to think critically and multitask Strong computer skills (CAD & MS Office)Exhibits strong leadership skillsExcels working in a team environment Attention to detail Self-motivated Qualifications
BS in Civil Engineering or related field 8-11 years of site/civil design engineering experience requiredPE licensure requiredUnderstanding of the Long Island marketplace a plusOur best estimate of the salary range for this position located in Hauppauge, NY is $106,000-140,000. The final compensation will be based on a variety of factors such as individual qualifications, education, and experience.
