Toyon has openings for technical researchers to develop/implement, test,and analyze algorithms that solve real-world problems in the areas ofestimation and control. Minimum background includes familiarity withprobability and random processes, and linear algebra. Preferred candidateshave familiarity with estimation methods (least-squares, Kalman filters)and linear system theory. Algorithms may be prototyped in MATLAB or Pythonwith potential implementation in C++. Must be able to work independentlybut willing to engage collaboratively in technical discussions with othertechnical staff members.
RequirementsCandidates for the Signal Processing Engineer position should have a strongbackground in engineering, physics, and/or mathematics combined withcompetent programing skills.
