Job Description
We are looking for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to work for one of our aerospace clients based in California. This individual will be responsible for the following:
- This role is required to work onsite Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm.
- This role will build Employee and supplier relations and provide customer service to all requesters (employees) and vendors.
- Use Envoy systems for processing all inbound deliveries.
- Use Vendor Software for shipping, FEDEX, UPS, DHL, Postal Service, etc.
- Process all Equipment with Asset tagging and logging of assets into System and spreadsheets. Collaborating with internal teams on Asset management, i.e., Procurement, IT, Legal, Supply Chain, Export and Compliance.
- Manage ordering of supplies needed for the Shipping and Receiving department via ULINE.
- Work closely with the Environmental, Health & Safety team to support company compliance requirements.
- Will be responsible for use of warehouse type of equipment. Pallet Jacks, Hand Trucks, Dollies and Miscellaneous Equipment.
- Operate postage mail machines.
- Support the Facilities department with other duties as assigned.
- Troubleshooting shipping and receiving issues and customer service.
- Associate degree preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in shipping, receiving and inventory management (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
- Prior forklift experience
- Experience working in an R&D/Manufacturing Environment.
- Knowledge of Shipping and Receiving of International shipments and Customs process and willing to get Dangerous Goods Certified.
- Knowledge of Handling Hazardous Materials, for Receiving and Shipping. Work with EH&S Team on any Certifications as required.

3+ years of experience as a Shipping/Receiving Clerk
Experience with International Shipments
Experience with receiving into ERP, SAP, ION, and Asset Panda
Experience with MS Office and Zendesk
Inventory Management
Experience with operating a forklift
Experience in an R&D or Manufacturing Company
Experience with US Mail, UPS, Fedex, and Freight Shipments - Forklift Certified null
