Role Summary:
As a Shipping Associate, you will ensure the on-time flow of goods and materials from our manufacturing to our customers. You will provide support to shipping, planning, sales and operations.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Monitoring the legally compliant processing exports in the company including but not limited to BIS (Bureau of Industry Security) and DOD (Department of Defense)
Applying for export licenses and monitoring and handling correspondence with BIS
Compliance with US export control regulations
Coordinate pickups, track shipments and troubleshoot problems by contacting shipping companies Store materials on stockroom shelves and bins, keeping area clean and organized
Maintain organized, current paper files to ensure others can locate paperwork quickly
Follow detailed procedures in order, accurately and consistently
Other duties as assigned
Preferred Experience / Skills:
Experience with SNAP-R
Experience with Integration Point
Basic knowledge of warehouse management Strong attention to detail
Sit Down Forklift experience preferred to move crates in excess of 4000 lbs and over 120" in length
Experience with ERP / MRP systems such as Oracle or SAP preferred
Previous experience with the online systems of FedEx, UPS and other carriers is desired
May be required to lift or push up to 50 pounds
HS Diploma / GED and 3-5 years relevant experience
