　　Shipping & Receiving Clerk -7350 Industrial Blvd, Allentown, Pennsylvania, 18106

　　The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for shipping, receiving, returns, and carrier relations.

　　Shift & Schedule: This is a full time position on Night Shift working our 2-2-3 schedule (see details below for shifts we have open at this time). Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled is required.

　　Nights: 6:00pm-6:00am

　　Week 1: Monday Tuesday Friday Saturday

　　Week 2: Sunday Wednesday Thursday

　　Position Responsibilities

　　Check in and out truck drivers in a timely manner using Carrier Point (logistics software used by Ryder)

　　Assign drivers to doors to be loaded and unloaded

　　Complete the bill of ladings for drivers and get the proper signatures

　　Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies and procedures of the Company and Standards established by Office of Safety and Health Administration

　　Execute new approaches/procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of the department and services performed

　　Compensation: Pay starting at $19.10 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $20.09 per hour in the quarter after their 6 month anniversary.

　　Requirements

　　High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred

　　1 year logistics, or shipping and receiving experience

　　1 year working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

　　1 year experience with an automated warehouse management systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Manugistics
