JOB REQUIREMENTS: Train workers in food preparation, and in service,sanitation, and safety procedures. Supervise and participate in kitchenand dining area cleaning activities. Resolve customer complaintsregarding food service. Record production, operational, and personneldata on specified forms. Recommend measures for improving workprocedures and worker performance to increase service quality andenhance job safety. Present bills and accept payments. Perform variousfinancial activities, such as cash handling, deposit preparation, andpayroll. Perform personnel actions, such as hiring and firing staff,providing employee orientation and training, and conducting supervisoryactivities, such as creating work schedules or organizing employee timesheets. Perform food preparation and serving duties, such as carvingmeat, preparing flambe dishes, or serving wine and liquor. Observe andevaluate workers and work procedures to ensure quality standards andservice, and complete disciplinary write-ups. Inspect supplies,equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient service and conformance tostandards. Greet and seat guests, and present menus and wine lists.Assign duties, responsibilities, and work stations to employees inaccordance with work requirements.
