This will include items such as scheduling, time cards, payroll preparations, ensuring staff trainings are completed as assigned, and helping to coordinate shift adjustments as needed. The Shelter Supervisor will work closely with both employees and clients. Whether ensuring the Standard Operating Procedures are followed or providing administrative support to the Program Manager, this position will receive daily support from the Program Manager.This position is full-time, non-exempt, and located in Seattle, Washington.Pay Rate: $23.50/hourDuties & ResponsibilitiesUnder direct supervision and coordination with the Shelter Programs Director, duties will include responsibility for direct supervision of the Off-Site Shelter Programs staff operational administration.Demonstrates working knowledge of emergencyAssists with the monitoring, evaluation, and facilitation of changes in operational and administrative programs to ensure compliance with policy, contractual, and regulatory requirements.Assists as needed in hiring assuring adequate coverage of permanent, temporary, and on-call shelterProvide direct supervision and training for staff assignedAttends and participates in all staffConduct regular shelter program staff meetings asAbility to conduct and oversee direct client servicesProvide policy and procedure guidance to subordinate staffProvide supportive care to residents experiencing personalEducation & ExperienceHS Diploma or GEDMinimum of 1-year experience in public contact/customer Service1 year of relatable supervisory experienceDemonstrates skilled training in basic Trauma Informed Care, mental health, first aid, and conflictFour months of successful experience as a Salvation Army Shelter Monitor (or related experience).Washington State Driver's License required
