Job Function:
Perform site collection, site configuration, and administration of the KME, SharePoint sites, and workspaces.
Gather customer requirements, conduct requirements analysis, and translate requirements into specifications.
Translate and document end user requirements into specifications that can be leveraged to effectively design and develop SharePoint solutions.
Analyze and assess design of business processes and their integration with technology.
Provide front end web development services and solutions within the supported SharePoint environment.
Implement full range of the Software Development Life Cycle (requirements gathering & analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance) with respect to SharePoint application development for client-side and provider hosted web applications within the supported SharePoint environment.
Contribute to future development and growth through client-side development best practices, client-side frameworks, and incorporate new technologies, graphic design principles, and leading industry trends within the supported SharePoint environment.
Contribute to internal business processes for SharePoint customizations and lifecycle management to include documentation, requirements gathering and analysis, testing, and development of best practices.
Provide recommendations to Government lead on SharePoint features, capabilities, and service applications to employ to enhance end user experience and improve collaborative efforts.
Perform content and document management activities to include configuring & managing document check-in/out, managing version history, configuring and managing document sets, configuring and managing content organizer rules, creating and configuring metadata to facilitate categorization, classification, and organization, creating and configuring permission constructs to control access to content, configuring and managing document review and approval processes, and managing document publication and disposition for all applicable SharePoint sites.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience
Proficient and knowledgeable in the utilization and configuration of SharePoint features and capabilities. This includes the creation and configuration of lists, libraries, sites, workspaces, web part pages, and security groups in a SharePoint environment.
Proficient and knowledgeable in SharePoint infrastructure and migration software such as Metalogix.
Experience in monitoring and enforcing KME governance activities to ensure consistency and uniformity throughout all applicable SharePoint sites.
Business Process Analysis or re-engineering experience.
Proficient and knowledgeable in utilization and configuration of SharePoint objects leveraging the SharePoint client-side object model (CSOM), JavaScript object model (JSOM), and representational state transfer (REST) Application Program Interfaces (API).
Proficient in client-side development leveraging JavaScript, jQuery, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Stylesheets (CSS), SharePoint Web Services, AJAX, SPFx, Node.js, etc. to develop and construct client-side code to retrieve information from SharePoint objects and push information to SharePoint objects; use client-side code to implement major customizations in a SharePoint environment.
Proficient and knowledgeable in the application of eXtensible markup language (XML), eXtensible stylesheet language (XSL), XSL transformations (XSLT), and collaborative application markup language (CAML) in a SharePoint platform.
Certifications:
Current IAT Level II certification required
Must obtain a PL-900 Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals Certification
Obtain PL-400 Microsoft Power Platform Developer Certification and PL-600 Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert Certification
Must complete the AEP Site Manager/Site Owner training course after start
