Merlin Mold and Manufacturing located in Canastota is seeking a Set Up Technician. The range of pay for a Set up tech is $20-$25/hr. The hours of operation for a Set-Up Tech would be 7am-5pm.
The Set Up Technician is responsible for optimizing and fine tuning injection mold processes. The candidate will also troubleshoot machines, adjust process parameters and ensure high quality production.
Minimum qualifications: Must possess a high school diploma or ged. 5-10 years of experience in machine and mold set up is required. Must be fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates must be proficient in math; including decimals, fractions, and measurement conversion. Candidates must possess strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
