The job requirement includes, but are not limited to:
Developing, installing, and troubleshooting ServiceNow applications;
Integrating it with other programs;
Learning about the latest developments in one or more aspects of computer programming
Training, documentation, and support;
Lastly, they are also responsible for ensuring that the software behaves as designed by testing it for bugs and performance during all stages of the development process.
Specific responsibilities may include:
Troubleshoot bugs, fix defects, and support users of applications developed by the enterprise application development team.
Perform code reviews to ensure that the quality bar is being met with regard to coding standards, integration, extensibility, and security.
Assist in maintaining detailed documentation of application design and code generation techniques used to train other developers on ServiceNow system software.
Develop enhancements for applications developed by the enterprise application development team.
Requirements and Qualifications
3+ years of relevant experience
Knowledge of CMDB Implementation
Demonstrated expertise in at least two SNOW modules (e.g. ITSM, CSM, SecOps etc.)
Expertise in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Proven ability to set up ServiceNow using Business Rules, Client Scripts, sophisticated UI Policies, Flow Designer, ACLs, Script Includes, and UI Scripts to meet needs
Experience with JavaScript/GLIDE and HTML5
Expertise with REST/SOAP APIs to integrate ServiceNow with other IT systems
Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders
Strong analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in math, engineering, information systems, or a related fieldPreferred Qualifications
Experience with the Big 4 or consulting
Working knowledge of Scrum or Agile development methodologies
Certification as a Certified Implementation Specialist
