BASIC PURPOSE: The purpose of the ServiceNow (SN) System Administrator is to serve as a technical administrator for the ServiceNow platform across the Love’s enterprise and retail environments.The ServiceNow Administrator will facilitate meetings with internal stakeholders and gather the requirements needed for process integration.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technical Competency:
Support, maintain, and improve the SN platform with emphasis on ITSM, ITOM & ITAM.
Responsible for overall administration, configuration, maintenance, design, and improvement of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform.
Support the Service Mapping processes, ensuring accuracy and quality of data for existing mapped services and mapping new services as needed.
Integrate and maintain data sharing between ServiceNow and other sources.
Plan, test, and implement version upgrades to leverage functionality from new product releases.
Monitor overall health, usage, and compliance for ServiceNow.
Identify problems, research solutions, and make changes to improve functionality.
Process Management and Governance:
Create, develop, and manage governance and processes for ServiceNow administration.
Collaborate with others to document and implement ITIL processes based on experience and recognized best practices.
Manage the product backlog and roadmap to ensure continued value co-creation.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand their needs as they relate to ServiceNow.
Handle afterhours maintenance and support needs for the ServiceNow platform.
Various additional duties as needed and/or assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education
HS Diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred
ITIL Foundation and/or ServiceNow Certifications a plus
Experience
Experience with ServiceNow Incident, Change, Problem, Request and Knowledge Management features, including configuration and support
Experience with the creation, configuration and maintenance of the CMDB
Experience with scripting tools such as Java, HTML, APIs, XML

On-call availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
Lifting and transporting of heavy to moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals
