This position is eligible for a Candidate Sign-On Bonus of $300 payable after 100 days of continuous, successful employment.Essential FunctionsResponsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all makes of cranes and other equipmentDiagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as neededReads, understands and interprets operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawingsPositive interface with service writers, supervisor, parts department and customersPrepare proper documentation of actions takenAble to work with diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairsMaintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulationsSkills and Experience RequirementsStrong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervisionMust have a strong diesel engine, hydraulic and electrical backgroundMust have basic set of mechanics hand toolsAbility to work safely around moving machinery; to work in conditions with marked changes in temperature & humidityAbility to safely operate complex construction equipmentAble to lift 50 lbsPrevious experience with Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks is a plusManufacturers training will be an integral part of this position.
