JOB SUMMARY:
The Service Sales Associate (SSA) is a lead generation and prospecting role within the Aftermarket Sales organization.The SSA plays a key role in generating new business and building relationships with our customers and/or potential customers.The SSA will be responsible for tactical day-to-day responsibilities and significant project assignments as assigned bythe Vice President and/or Director of Aftermarket Sales.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
I.The SSA will provide sales support to the assigned Service Center, Aftermarket Region, VP, Director, or Senior/Service Sales Manager (SSM).This support includes (but is not limited to) the following:
a.Salesforce.com opportunity administration
b.Proposal creation and follow-up (where applicable)
c.New Capture and Low Visit lead generation
d.New opportunity creation and administration
e.Coordination with New Aircraft Sales and Field Service Engineering teams
f.Sales engineering requests
g.Creation and Use of Power Bi Dashboards
II.Represent Textron Aviation products and services.
III.Represents the Service Centers and region in conjunction with or in lieu of the Service Sales Manager.
IV.Identifies opportunities to develop and increase Textron Aviation business through extensive market analysis and continuous dialogue with sales personnel and customers.
V.Continuous Reporting of trends and/or aircraft movement to your team and recommends specific actions as appropriate
VI.Identifies and generates sales leads through various means of contacting new capture and low visit customers and in partnership with regional aftermarket sales teams.
VII.Coordinates and hosts customer visits, tours, demonstration flights and represents Textron Aviation at trade shows and events as assigned.
VIII.Remains current with aviation industry and financial market news to maintain an awareness of issues likely to impact customers and potential customers.
IX.Continuously researches market within the identified territory to identify prospective customers.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 2 years of relative sales and/or marketing experience required
Aviation experience is preferred
