  Service Representative promotes increased utilization of Loyola services by maintaining a customer service attitude that reflects the mission, vision and values of Loyola Medicine.

  Ensures effective clerical operations for the service area and performs all job duties under

  the highest customer service standards to exceed customer expectations.

  Conveys a professional and positive image of Loyola Medicine during interactions with patients, families, physicians, staff

  members and internal departments.

  We are looking for a Service Rep that can commit to one eight hour shift per week, and be flexible to work their shift at any of the following locations:

  Elmhurst Primary Care

  Elmwood Park Family Medicine

  Gottlieb Hospital's Professional Office Building

  Oakbrook Terrace Medical Center

  Park Ridge Medical Center

  Essential Job Responsibilities:

  Greeting patients entering the physician practice.

  Answering office phones, making appointments.

  Checks in patients and collects accurate patient demographics, enters data into electronic system and verifies insurance.

  Assists in checking out patients and assists them with referral processing and scheduling process

  Collects co-pays and posts charges.

  Charge entry and patient balance processing.

  Minimum Education: Required:

  Associates degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education

  Training in general administrative, business, healthcare or related field
