Design new services, move service builds forward, containerize services, provide advanced automation and DevOps tooling, and provide outstanding operational engineering. Design, write, and implement pipeline specifications, bring new technologies on board as required by the Development teams, write CloudFormation templates, and update configuration management systems (Chef/Ansible). Support planning for complex releases and service updates. Understand and support the environments and drive service improvement through metrics and analysis. Invest in Docker and Kubernetes. Develop best practices and templates that all client teams can leverage. Improve CI/CD automation and service deployment in general. Join team members in Tech Enabled and Deployment teams in overall environment design and support, including Level 3 on-call rotation. Partner with development groups to build and deploy better services. Develop operational targets and telemetry with development clients. Promote strong quality control practices through continuous integration and continuous deployment implementations using tools such as Sonar. Monitor tools using DataDog and SumoLogic and alert integration with collaboration tools such as MS Teams. Analyze software applications to identify vulnerabilities using tools such as JFrog Xray, Veracode, and Sonar. Design and maintain infrastructure automation tools. Design and evolve deployment systems and pipelines for reliability, security, and efficiency. Implement system and service telemetry to improve reliability and availability. Execute security best practices for cloud deployments. Ensure system security through industry best practices. Work with AWS cloud; CICD, including Jenkins; AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, CloudFormation, Route53, ELB, Lambda, API Gateway, and RDS; Windows, Linux, IIS/.net, and Java environments at scale; APM and service telemetry environments; Git; Ansible; Python and Bash scripting; Docker; network and storage services; and project management tools, techniques, and methodologies, including Agile principles.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field of study, plus five (5) years of experience in any job title/occupation/position involving AWS cloud; CICD, including Jenkins; AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, CloudFormation, Route53, ELB, Lambda, API Gateway, and RDS; Windows, Linux, IIS/.net, and Java environments at scale; APM and service telemetry environments; Git; Ansible; Python and Bash scripting; Docker; network and storage services; and project management tools, techniques, and methodologies, including Agile principles.Salary is 169,229.00 per year.
