This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
Your Responsibilities
As a Service Parts Compliance Manager for John Deere Parts Distribution Center located in Milan, IL , you will support and improve business processes to enable the importing of trade-restricted or regulated materials into/out of the United States. This includes shipments from Canadian RDC units to/from US dealers and imports/exports to NA-PDC from other Worldwide Part Division units. In addition, you will:
Support and improve country source of origin data provided for export documentation. This includes working with Operations and third-party teams to improve quality through improved processes and data tracking.
Process owner for NA-PDC's duty drawback program which recovers import duties John Deere has paid on service parts that are subsequently exported. Ensures compliance documentation is maintained.
Process owner for a third-party application utilized by US and Canadian Operations to track engine shipments by serial number. Responsibilities include monitoring unit effectiveness capturing necessary shipment data and working to improve the process, data accuracy, and completeness.
Process owner for a material audit and testing process used to verify conformance for a group of part numbers at Worldwide units.

What Skills You Need
Analysis of operational or logistical data to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities including establishing gates and flags.
Skills in process development and quality auditing
Experience in root cause analysis and developing and executing action plans
Process mapping of current business processes; designing and recommending solutions for continuous improvement.
Experience with large data queries and analysis tools
Project Management experience
Self-motivated, proactive problem solver, investigative mindset, and adaptive leader with strong communication skills
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience with SAP, Power Bi, and similar data analytics tools
Experience with flat storage files and the use of SAS programming to analyze data.
Job experiences with strong quality aspects including Six Sigma project methodology.
Experience with U.S. or Canadian import / export regulations and business processes. Other international regulation knowledge is a plus.
Project Management training/skills and experience.
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology, Supply Management, or Business/Management, or Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.What You'll Get
