The Service Engineer has the functional responsibility for all service workshop activities like. planning and execution of in-site & field service jobs, front & middle office and back office support (reactive) mainly but not limited, to within the Visayas region.
What is the Job all about?
The role will be responsible for following the procedures and policies, as agreed with the RegionalService Delivery Directorand in alignment with Group Standards, Values and Code of Conduct.
It is particularly important that the Service Engineer with support from H&S function is acting as a safety leader, maintaining a positive safety culture, and ensuring that H&S is operated professionally in order to keep our people (and Partners) safe.
You will be reporting to the Head of Service Delivery and to be assigned in Cebu.
Your main responsibilities:
Overall responsible for workshop or filed service activities and service delivery performance.
Upon receival of returned pumps, register customer information, conduct risk assessment, clean pumps according to EHS sanitary requirement.
Conduct inspection, fault analysis, warranty qualification, repairing and performance testing of returned pumps in workshop.
Process warranty claim and report warranty cases in FAS, and register identified product quality issue in QIP.
Work with coordinator to provide quotation for non-warranty repair.
Upon completion of workshop repair, provide professional report to customer, pack pumps and ship back to customer.
Regularly report on workshop repair and performance.
Perform regular maintenance for workshop, conduct calibration and upgrade of equipment and tools .
Report H&S incident.
Objectives:
Responsible for local service, repairs and support for service activities.
Works in accordance with the procedures as laid down in the quality manual.
Responsible for delivering a high service to exceed the expectations of our customers while ensuring efficiency and added value,
Processing the service vouchers that are returned from Service Partners
Handle and resolve any complaints about an invoice with the customer
Preparing quotations for repairs and maintenance work.
Provides and processes required service orders.
Conduct workplace inspections (aware of safety aspects).
Communicates matters about Safety, Health and Environment
Works in accordance with and ensures required H&S rules and local legislation in business).
Performs Task Risks analysis if the activities are different.
Responsible for implementing global processes and tools to ensure efficiency and add value for our customers.
Responsible for maintaining good relationships with customers, service partners, end-users, suppliers, local communities, and other important relevant stakeholders in the Country.
Handling of Merchant returns to warehouse, processing warranty documents and crediting pumps to merchants.
Your background:
Broad technical knowledge at bachelor level
Experience in developing business processes, particularly in a service environment.
Knowledge in using SAP, MS Word, MS Excel.
1-2 years of relevant work experience in a similar function.
Familiarity with the local language or dialect - Cebuano.
