Server Administrator/Engineer

　　As a Server Administrator/Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of server infrastructure within the organization. Your primary focus will be on Linux-based operating systems and virtual machine environments. 　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based server operating systems.Deploy and manage virtual machines using hypervisors (e.g., VMware, KVM).Implement server hardware and software configurations based on organizational requirements.```{=html}

　　```- Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal system operation.- Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations.- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate server systems with other infrastructure components.- Implement and enforce security best practices for servers and virtual machines.- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.- Develop and maintain backup strategies for critical server data.- Implement and test disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime.- Manage and optimize virtualized environments for maximum efficiency.- Troubleshoot virtual machine performance issues and resource allocation.- Develop and maintain scripts for automated server tasks and configurations.- Implement configuration management tools for consistent server deployments.- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.- Document server configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.- Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.- Monitor resource usage trends and plan for server capacity upgrades.- Recommend hardware and software improvements based on performance analysis.

　　Required Skills:

　　Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a Server Administrator/Engineer, with a focus on Linux environments.Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies and hypervisors.Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation.Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.Experience with server hardware, storage systems, and networking.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Ability to sit for long periods of time.Certifications (Preferred):
