  As an SEO intern, you'll identify strategies, techniques, and tactics to increase the number of visitors to the F5.com website and obtain a high-ranking placement in search engine results pages. By generating more leads for the business, you'll create new opportunities for driving growth and profit.

  In this role, you will research competitor websites to reverse engineer their content strategy, conduct keyword research to identify the words potential customers use when searching for products and services F5 offers, and review new web page content to help stakeholders better optimize their copy to reach customers.

  This position is based in Seattle and reports to the Sr Manager, Digital Intelligence and Optimization.

  PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Learn and then apply SEO best practices to help F5's content appear and rank highly in search engines

  Conduct keyword research for blogs, glossaries, solutions, use cases, product pages, etc.

  Review web page content and recommend optimizations based on SEO best-practices

  Conduct competitive analysis and content gap research aligned to F5's go-to-market priorities

  Build and/or augment a content calendar for our solutions and product marketing teams based on the best times to publish content

  Qualifications:

  Must be a current student in the United States pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree. Desired degrees are in marketing, business information systems, or computer science

  Must be willing to relocate to Seattle for both internship and subsequent fulltime role upon graduation.

  Approaching their Junior year (if pursuing a Bachelors) or beyond at the time of the internship (ie. one summer left before graduation). Exceptional Sophomore or Freshmen may be considered.

  Available for a 12 week internship between May and September of 2024. We are unable to accommodate internships outside of this time frame.

  Required Skills:

  Curiosity in or understanding of how search engines work and how they rank web pages.

  Interest in digital marketing and market research.

  Interest in or understanding of how the Internet works.

  Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  Knowledge of digital marketing and SEO principles and strategies a plus.

  Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

  The hourly U.S. pay range for this position is: $20.00 - $47.00

  F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5's differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
