Position Purpose:\Student Exploration and Experience Development (SEED) is a 10-weekinternship opportunity at Veolia for students to gain hands-onexperience in sustainability and ecological transformation. They willwork on real-world projects, receive mentorship from industryprofessionals, and participate in workshops and networking events. Theprogram aims to nurture talent, promote innovation, and fostermeaningful connections between students and industry professionals.Overall, the SEED program provides students with the skills, knowledge,and connections needed to make a positive impact in the industry.
Internship dates: June 17th, 2024- August 23rd, 2024
Gain hands-on experience in at least one career function fromSustainability, Corporate, Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing,Operations, Sales, Supply Chain or Technology.
Primary Duties/responsibilities:
General Description: leads projects for customers such as: leading aContinual Improvement initiative(s) and delivering sustainability/wastereduction/cost improvement projects. Also, identify suppliers, spec outequipment; present to customer.
Executes tasks directly related to functional projects and/orprocess improvements.Communicates issues and roadblocks related to areas ofresponsibility.May assist in research or special projects in a variety of areas inorder to fulfill business initiatives and meet business objectives.May be asked to prepare and deliver insights and recommendationsbased on analyses.Produces findings and draws conclusions from analyses. Makes oraland written recommendations to management.Internships/Co-Ops are focused on learning and exposure to fundamentalbusiness processes and procedures.

Working towards a four year degree and you have Junior or Seniorstatus in a related major. Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, listening,presentation and facilitation skills / Demonstrated ability to buildcollaborative relationshipsRequired Certification / Licenses / Training:
