DUTIES: Improve overall observability of all services in a complex distributed cloud based systems including monitoring, alerting and reporting. Track and Improving reliability, availability and performance of end to end business transactions. Perform Root cause analysis to identify and resolve problems within complex, distributed, integrated, enterprise environment. Use techniques such as Fishbone diagrams, Pareto charts, 5 Whys and Scatter Plot to perform root cause analysis. Perform business analysis and problem resolution through software development life cycle in support of business‐critical applications. Handle work user issues associated with customer ordering, provisioning, and service assurance, and help to coordinate integrated problem resolution. Use Operating systems like Linux and Windows running in Virtual Machines and Kubernetes in cloud. Troubleshoot Networking issues and issues with Firewalls, Switches, Routers and other networking components. Execute performance tuning and troubleshooting experience of applications built with technologies like .Net, nodejs, java, Springboot and Jetty and databases like Oracle, MS SQL, Cassandra, MongoDB and MySQL. Use AIOps tools and familiarity with AI/ML technology. Develop scripts in python and cloud automation. Employ basic understanding of public cloud (Amazon, Azure or Google). Utilize SRE/DevOps/IT Operations and/or Development. Deal with highly technical staff. Use ITSM tools like ServiceNow, BMC, ServiceDesk etc. Utilize observability tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Catchpoint, Quantum metric. Understand of public cloud (Amazon, Azure or Google).
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Biotechnology, Information Systems, or Engineering and 5 Years of progressive, post baccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 Years of progressive, post baccalaureate experience in a related occupation utilizing SRE/DevOps/IT Operations and/or Development; dealing with highly technical staff; using ITSM tools like ServiceNow, BMC, ServiceDesk etc.; utilizing observability tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Catchpoint, Quantum metric; and employing basic understanding of public cloud (Amazon, Azure or Google)
