The position will consist of managing projects and staff while supporting business development and client relationship management. You can lead the way into a new future for our industry, inspiring the next generation of driven and committed people in the process.Learn about leadership opportunities with GHD.Working with an energetic and hard-working team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:* Serving as technical lead to develop the approach, implement projects, and present to clients and project partners* Preparing technical analysis, modeling, reports, presentations, and bid documents* Managing and mentoring staff* Serving as project manager, delivering quality projects on budget and scheduleWhat you will bring to the team:* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; (Environmental, Civil, or similar), Advanced Degree in related field is a plus.* Minimum 10 years of civil engineering experience with a focus on public water resources infrastructure planning, analysis including modeling, engineering, and planning projects.* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Experience leading a team of engineers and technical staff* Long-term client management experience* Experience preparing complex engineering analysis and planning documents* Experience in developing project scopes, schedules, and budgets* Strong technical writing skills; with grant and proposal writing experience a plus* Must be able to work on multiple assignments simultaneously; and have strong organizational, problem solving, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills* Expertise using Microsoft Excel and other relevant software* Skilled in GIS and AutoCAD applications a plus* Experience in project delivery from planning, design, permitting, construction, and post-construction monitoring* Experience leading complex multidisciplinary teams a plus* Experience evaluating and designing fish passage and screening projects a plus* Experience with evaluation and restoration of natural systems, including wetlands, riverine systems, and tidal estuaries a plus* Experience developing mitigation banks a plus* Licensed Professional Engineer in WA,To view the full job description,
