Senior Transmission Line Engineer

　　Tampa, FL

　　System One is currently seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer on a direct hire position located in Atlanta, GA.

　　Transmission Line Engineer Responsibilities:

　　Work closely with the team of transmission engineers and our utility clients on the design and installation of overhead electric transmission lines.

　　The Senior Transmission Engineer will use various industry standard in-house and client-based software applications to design and develop engineering construction packages.

　　Transmission Line Engineer Requirements:

　　Bachelor of Science in engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program

　　PE license required

　　Minimum 7 years of direct experience in designing high-voltage overhead transmission lines (consultant experience required)

　　Minimum 7 years of experience with PLS-CADD and PLS Pole

　　Experience must include preparation of scopes of work, development of conceptual designs, determination of design basis, the selection of equipment and materials, and the preparation and assembling of calculations and specifications

　　Proficient in design and review of transmission foundations & construction packages

　　Extensive experience with design codes and industry standards, including: NESC, ASCE, IEEE, and ACI

　　Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

　　Valid driver’s license

　　Pre-employment drug screening and background check

　　Duration: Direct hire

　　Location: Tampa, FL

　　Pay Rate: $100-150k
