About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity available for a highly motivated technical sales professional located in or near Salt Lake City, UT, Phoenix, AZ, or Denver, CO. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will be in charge of driving sales growth and solidifying the company’s position as the leading provider in the Mountain West region.
Client is looking for someone who –
Technical Degree - engineering, materials science, biomedical, physics, chemistry.
They need someone with equipment experience, ideally, motors, pumps, conveyor belts, and other critical equipment for companies.
5+ years in outside sales experience selling directly to customers and doing product demonstrations.
Capital equipment experience!! - long term sales up to hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Travel up to 35% - M-W or T-Th then working remotely the rest of time.
Qualifications What You’ll Bring:
A strong passion for technology combined with a desire to learn and excel in sales.
A positive attitude that prioritizes understanding, anticipating, and responding to the needs of customers, both internal and external to your department and organization.
Essential leadership qualities, including flexibility, reliability, and effective teamwork and communication.
Self-motivation, a results-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
A technical bachelor’s degree (e.g., materials science, mechanical, electrical, biomedical, or chemical engineering), along with a minimum of 5-10+ years of experience in outside technical sales of capital equipment (preferably in the test and measurement, analytical instrumentation, or industrial controls industry).
