Developers love the scalability, security, and ease-of-use of the public cloud. Cloud Native developers take advantage of those capabilities by building Microservices with containers. The Azure Container Apps (ACA) team is re-imagining Cloud Native development by building a developer-centric offering built on a transparent, open-source platform including Kubernetes, Dapr, KEDA and Envoy. Since getting to Generally Available status in 2023, ACA has been growing at a double-digit rate month over month, customers find it easy to build and deploy Cloud Native apps and are finding new and exciting use-cases every day.
To meet the customer demand, the ACA team is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager. This unique role will be in-charge of nurturing strategic customers, finding and addressing quality and usability trends encountered by customers and making sure those are addressed promptly by the product team.
As new customers onboard to the product, questions, issues and new usage patterns come up all the time. The ACA team is fast-paced, startup environment that is focused on doing the right thing for customers and growing the business. The successful candidate for this role will have deep technical understanding of Azure and Cloud Native technologies, verbal and written communication skills, the ability to deal with high tension customer situations and to communicate the essence of their requirements to the rest of the engineering team. This is a high-impact and high-visibility role that will drive significant growth to the ACA business and measurable improvements to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
The right candidate should be able to work in a startup environment and will be able to operate with minimal supervision.
Monitoring and triaging incoming issues from several sources (internal mailing lists, support, Microsoft sales, social media).
Identifying trends in customer request and issues and crafting work items for engineers to address them.
Meet with Microsoft field account representatives and customers and have deep technical conversation about solution architecture and issue resolution.
Identify opportunities for new capabilities that have potential to grow the business and articulate them to the rest of the team.
Document trends, common use-cases, and workarounds.
Represent the product in relevant forums such as Executive Business Centers, pre-sales meetings and seller training.
Track product issues and make sure they get addressed.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
OR equivalent experience
2+ years working on enterprise cloud deployments and or SaaS implementation.
2+ years working at a customer or partner facing role interacting with 3rd parties to achieve shared goals.
Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
