  The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Tableau and Power BI Information Technology Architect and System Administrator to join the team in Seattle, WA; North Charleston, SC; or Berkeley, MO.

  The candidate will responsible for system architecture and providing operations support for our suite of Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions to the Boeing enterprise platform for Microsoft Power BI and Salesforce Tableau. These are on-premise as well as hybrid cloud-based solutions.

  Position Responsibilities:

  Leads Architecture Solution design and Operations Support in PaaS solutions

  Leads the team as a subject matter expert and through a combination of mentoring, on the job training, technical leadership, make others better, and raise the bar for those around you

  Participates in Tableau architecture design and administration support

  Communicates and inform of planned and unplanned downtime

  Assesses, tests, installs, troubleshoots, upgrades, and migrates Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products comprising the Data Analytics Services environments (Microsoft Power BI, Salesforce Tableau, Internet Information Services (IIS), and Structured Query Language (SQL) Server

  Drives end-to-end service of PaaS offerings

  Executes Tier 1 and Tier 2 support activities with the goal of world class operations service level

  Coordinates impacting activities with customer base across the enterprise

  Adheres to Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Business Intelligence (BI)

  Drives for continual service improvement and excellence in service delivery

  Participates in the team on-call rotation supporting 7X24X365 server environment availability

  This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

  This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  3+ years of experience with Tableau administration

  3+ years of experience with working on multiple projects/programs of various size and complexity

  3+ years of experience with LINUX and Windows operating systems at the system administrator level

  3+ years of experience with the administration of web applications (i.e Internet Information Services (IIS), Apache)

  Experience with SQL Server

  Willing to support a 24/7 on-call environment

  Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  Experience leading teams and strong communications skills

  Experience with Google Cloud Platform

  Experience in Python automation scripting and/or Powershell automation scripting

  Experience with customer-focused roles, the ability to triage issues, react well to changes, and work with teams

  Experience with Java development

  Typical Education & Experience:

  Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).

  Relocation:

  Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

  Work Shift:

  This position will be for first shift.

  Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

  Summary pay range: $120,700 – $174,800
