JOB ROLE SUMMARY
Middleware Infrastructure Engineers ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of web and application server tiers. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all web and application servers assigned. The Middleware Infrastructure Engineer will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Knowledge of Webmethod implementation best practices.
Experience in webMethods components like Integration Server, My webMethods Server, Trading Networks, Broker, Universal Messaging, Deployer, Adapters like JDBC, MQ.
Good knowledge of Linux systems.
Experience in application deployments.
Experience in installations, configuration, patches, and upgrades of webMethods components.
Exposure to complete Integration solutions using webMethods 10. x.
Experience in installing the certificates.
Experience in DR (Disaster Recovery) activities.
Experience in troubleshooting and fine-tuning webMethods applications.
Experience in working with product vendors in adapting recommended changes, and fixes.
Good understanding of webMethods code review practices.
Good communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS Required:
Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years' experience; or equivalent work experience.
Preferred
Detailed knowledge of Ensono products.
Certified in one or more web or application server technologies.
Strong understanding of multiple operating systems, web servers and application servers. Capable of troubleshooting complex web/application server problems.
