The position is an exciting opportunity to grow and be challenged in a role using cutting edge technologies to address exciting problems.  You will build and support a DevOps environment, including implementing automation, scripting, incorporating orchestration technologies, using virtual environments, putting security requirements in place, and scanning for security issues. The role is a rare blend of forward-looking work combined with traditional systems engineering tasking.

　　Key Responsibilities:Participate in all phases of the software lifecycle with an emphasis on system maintenance, configuration, integration, and information assurance.Interface with users to determine computer system functional requirements.Design, test and develop systems and components to meet user needs.Document requirements, designs, test results and procedures.Configure, install, test and troubleshoot computer network components and equipment.Build and support a DevOps environment.

　　Basic Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in the Mathematics, the Physical Science, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 6-8 years of related experience, or a Master of Science degree with 4-6 years of experience, or a PhD with 2-4 years of experience.Experience with Red Hat and hardening systems according to STIG guidelines.Experience with vulnerability management/scanningExperience with Windows and/or Linux system administrationExperience with operating system installation and configuration.Experience in a development environmentStrong Enterprise Linux 7/8 and Windows Server 2016/2019 administrationExperience with Virtual Machine configuration and managementExperience with Linux shell scriptingExperience with Ansible playbook developmentWorking knowledge of common network protocols (HTTP/S, FTP/S, SSH, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)Familiar with the OSI modelExperience with Public Key InfrastructureKnowledge of cloud computingContainerization and orchestration platformsExperience with Git version controlProblem solving and troubleshooting skills
