　　Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Senior System Engineersupporting the Space Systems Command (SSC) Defensive Cyber Operations(DCO) programs in the United States Space Force. This position willsupport the program office as it requires advanced persistent cyber defensesagainst nation state threats to operations. Given the stove-piped nature ofthe space enterprise, the Cyber Operations approach shall be multipronged.The long-term strategy involves a common ground architecture providingcentralized management and control of satellite operations through EnterpriseGround Services (EGS), resulting in a truly integrated space enterprise.Collaboration and cooperation across space acquisition, space and cyberspaceoperations, and commanders at all levels is required to apply a risk-basedapproach (both mission and system risk) to establish enterprise-widesituational awareness in the cyberspace domain.This is a full-time opportunity located in Colorado Springs, CO

　　Responsibilities

　　Duties include, but not limited to:Manages and monitors installed hardware and software systems.Assists with network tap design and system survey to ensure data is properlysampled and transported.Evaluates existing systems and assists with technical refreshs.Lead and/or assist with hardware installation and software deployment atmission system sites.

　　Qualifications

　　Minimum Required Qualifications:Citizenship: Must be a US citizenClearance: Must have and be able to maintain an active Top Secret / SCICertifications: CCNA, Security+, CCNP, JNCIS-Sec, JNCDA or equivelentEducation: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a relatedSTEM field.Years' experience: 6+ yearsProgramming language knowledge with background in Bash scripting, LinuxCLI, and Python

　　Preferred Qualifications:Preferred Education: Master's degree or higher in Computer Science or arelated STEM field.Experience with a working/operating in a SCIF environmentExperience with the following programs:Manticore out-of-band defensive cyber for "Identify and Detect" capabilitiesKraken in-band defensive cyber for "Protect/Respond" capabilities
