No other company has the breadth and depth of technology and experience to deliver end to end public safety applications and mission critical voice and data communications systems.Job DescriptionThe Next Generation 9-1-1 Call Handling Presales Solution Architecture team supports the Sales organization with evaluating a customer's needs in regard to NG9-1-1 Call Handling solutions from our various solutionofferings and subsequently designs the appropriatesolution.Additionally, they will assist with completing required Request for Proposal (RFP) and Quote request documents, recommendations for overall system design, and identifying unique requirements for a given solution. The team will support the Sales Organization with customer meeting support, site walks, andrequirements gathering.They will provide product demonstration support for customer meetings, regional and national trade shows.The position will be responsible for but not limited to the following:Manages presale opportunities and implementation of the identified complex projects; this comprises all stages of the projects, starting from scope definition until the final close of the project, involved in the entire integration processThe incumbent is responsible for the management of all aspects of the technical solution, Customer requirements and expectations within the projectsDefines directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of the technical solutionsProvide engineering services for customers, including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment in accordance with technical requirements, documentation and contract obligations, system presentation for the internal/external customersDirectly responsible for the preparation of system bids, taking into account the customer's needs and the equipment available, as well as any modifications required in conjunction with the product groupWorks with operations as well as other internal and external developers of the networking products and systems to meet customers' delivery requirements and meeting deadlinesSkills/Qualifications:Technical Knowledge of 911 Emergency Call Handling systems, related Equipment, Network and Telephony architecture strongly preferredSupport the Sales Team with customer meeting support, site walks andrequirements gatheringProvide product demonstration support for onsite customer meetings, regional and national trade showsWork on detailed technical requirements for Request for Proposals (RFP)Complete various system requirements documentation and participate in various project review and meetingsExcellent presentation skills preferred.
