Position Summary:

Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. Responsible for the use and general maintenance of the DaVinci robot.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies. Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments.Drag Edit Delete

Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.Actively participates and ensures room turn overs are efficient and timelyDrag Edit Delete

Manages robotic surgery schedule and ensures adequate inventory of supplies for surgery.Drag Edit Delete

Assists with training, troubleshooting, and appropriate use of the DaVinci. Maintains positive relationship with company in the event further assistance is necessary.Drag Edit Delete

Passes instruments to physician during surgery. Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.Drag Edit Delete

Ensures all required maintenance is scheduled and met for the DaVinci Surgical System.Drag Edit Delete

Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory.Drag Edit Delete

Performs on call services as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Work ExperienceExternal - 3 years as a Surgical Technician and service line sign off within 1 year.Internal - 1 years as a Surgical Technician and service line sign off.
