　　Goodwill Northern New England, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families reach their fullest potential through community-based programs and services, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. 　　Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000

　　Job Summary:

　　The Senior Staff Accountant is expected to:• Prepare and record financial transactions.• Review and analyze accounting data and records.• Complete financial reconciliations supporting the general ledger and trial balance.• Maintain accounting records following GAAP and associated state/federal reporting requirements.• Post-award grant administration and related accounting duties.• Assist with annual audit.• Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

　　Minimum Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in accounting or finance• Demonstrated proficiency in a computerized accounting system.• Demonstrated mastery of financial analysis and competence in technical accounting issues, including state and federal grants• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality. • Successful completion of a background check that meets Agency standards.• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and insurance that meets Agency standards.
