Riverside Research is seeking a full-time Senior Space Operations SubjectMatter Expert to support Space Operations Command (SpOC) at Peterson SpaceForce Base (SFB), Colorado. Candidate will join a team developing andpresenting Initial Qualification Training (IQT)/Mission QualificationTraining (MQT) to United States Space Force (USSF) Intelligence,Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) Guardians. Candidates will utilizebest practices of the Instructional System Development (ISD) modelemployed by the Department of the Air Force (DAF) to create coursewarethat encompasses but is not limited to space operations, orbitalmechanics, orbital warfare, electronic warfare, and operationalplanning. Candidates will present material primarily through in-personclassroom instruction at Peterson SFB, CO, though there will be limitedtravel to other locations. Candidates must be proficient in standard officesoftware applications and capable of devising practical and sustainablesolutio
Responsibilities
Support identification, validation, and prioritization of initialqualification training (IQT) and mission qualification training (MQT)requirements related to space operations, orbital mechanics, orbitalwarfare, electronic warfare, and operational planning for USSF ISREnterprise GSurvey available courses or instructional materials available throughout theDepartment of Defense (DoD) that may partially or wholly meet IQT/MQT needsWhere existing courses or instructional materials do not exist or do not meetUSSF requirements, create tailored, domain-specific courseware thatincorporates DAF community best practices for ISDEvaluate IQT/MQT material on an annual basis for currency and relevancy toevolving USSF mission assets; revise material as needed to meet validated,prioritized requirementsAs part of a team, deliver IQT/MQT through in-person classroominstruction; on a limited basis, participate in mobile training teamspresenting training at other locationsExplore the use of computer-based training (CBT) or distance learning thruvideo teleconferencing; provide recommendations on how this may be implemented
Qualifications
Required QualificationsActive TS clearance with SCI adjudicationBachelor's in business administration, accounting, finance,engineering, computer science, physics, math, history, or related fieldsUnited States Air Force (USAF)/ USSF Space professional with a minimumof 15 years' experience supporting space operations to include orbitalwarfare, electronic warfare, and operational planningQualification in any of the following USAF/USSF Specialty Codes: 13S -Space Operations Officer, 1C6 - Space Systems Operations, 5S - SpaceSystems OperatorExperience developing training material and presenting in a classifiedenvironmentEffective/efficient written/verbal communication skills; proficient inMS Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelSelf-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to workindependently with minimal daily directionAbility to work and interact with technically and organizationally diversepersonnelOpen to occasional travelDesired Qualifications:Experience with United States Space Force (USSF) organization,mission, roles, and responsibilitiesExperience with or assignments to National Space Defense Center (NSDC),Combined Space Operatio s Center (CSOC), or Joint Task Force Space Defense,Experience or assignments to Space Delta 2, 3, 5, 8, or 9Weapons Instructor Course (WIC) or Advanced Instructor Course (AIC)graduate from the United States Air Force Weapons SchoolAssignment to or deployments in support of a Combined Air Operations Center(CAOC)Master's in business administration, accounting, finance,engineering, computer science, physics, math, history, or related field
Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility.Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate's unique set ofknowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potentialcommensurate with experience. The range for this position is $150,000.00 -$175,000.00 annually
