　　Section 1: who are we looking for

　　We're hiring a Sr. Sourcing-Costing Analyst with a passion for Nike Apparel.

　　In this role you will help create and complete seasonal sourcing strategy for assigned products. You will also manage the product Cost Planning process in conjunction with Product Creation teams to help create world-class product that meets profitability targets.

　　We're looking for someone with strong garment and trim expertise, as well as a strong understanding of garment manufacturing and supply chain. Our Sr. Sourcing-Costing Analysts needs to be skilled in communication and collaboration, analytics, problem-solving, and scenario planning.

　　Marketplace and/or supply chain experience is a plus.

　　Section 2: what will you work on

　　If this is you, you will work with Product Creation, Finance, Supply Planning, and Materials teams while managing sourcing and costing for apparel product segments.

　　A typical day/week will include: Coordinating with product creation, finance, sourcing leadership, and manufacturing teams to select the most appropriate manufacturing source to meet product quality and pricing needs. You will also focus time and expertise to help product teams assess tradeoffs between product cost/margin and other criteria when making sourcing decisions. You will be relied upon to offer alternative solutions (materials/construction) when product quotes exceed cost targets. You will help to balance our supplier loading by multi-sourcing product and aligning for trade benefits to manufacturing country of origin.

　　In this role you will be reporting to a director, working together to manage the sourcing and costing efforts for Apparel product segments. You will partner closely with Product Creation teams every day to bring sourcing and cost excellence to fruition. You will also collaborate with Merchandising, Finance, and Supply Planning teams throughout the Nike product creation cycle.

　　Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Textiles, Supply Chain, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience and training5+ years consumer product costing experience, ideally with apparel and/or textiles focusStrong knowledge of product development and/or garment manufacturingDemonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to articulate tradeoffs and offer alternatives to resolve design, development, or pricing challengesAbility to communicate to up and down to different levels of the organization as well as listen and respond to diverse partner inputExperience identifying and solving a range of issues/challenges proactively and communicates those within the team(s).Seeks out opportunities to streamline processes and share standard methodologiesStrong analytical skills. Able to manipulate and shape data to answer questions, identify trends, and provide business solutions to complex issues.
