　　Intuit Mailchimp is a leading marketing platform for small businesses. We empower millions of customers worldwide to build their brands and grow their companies with a suite of marketing automation, multichannel campaigns, CRM, and analytics tools.

　　Intuit Mailchimp's Wayfinding team is responsible for the application's information architecture, helping the users navigate and get their jobs done. The team is currently working on an AI-powered search capability.

　　To support this critical mission, The Wayfinding team is hiring an engineer to add to our strong and supportive team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge Generative AI products and collaborate with other teams throughout the company.

　　The ideal candidate has experience building and operating large web applications, plus familiarity with current technology trends and patterns. They should also be a skilled communicator and collaborator comfortable working across multiple teams and departments.

　　Intuit Mailchimp is a hybrid workplace, giving employees the opportunity to collaborate in person with team members in our Atlanta and New York offices two or more days per week.

　　What you'll bring

　　You have at least five years of experience building and operating large web applications and extensive experience working within large-scale development environments.Front-end: proficiency with semantic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and other web technologies. Back-end: Proficiency with some backend language (we use PHP). Tooling: Experience with version control (we use Git).You are as comfortable working with building new features and working with legacy code.You have strong communication and collaboration Our teams are distributed, so effective written communication is key.You can work independently while also enjoying collaboration with others. You are willing to give and receive constructive criticism.Ability to move fast in an environment where things are sometimes loosely defined and you may have competing priorities or deadlines.Extra points for experience in any of the following areas: AI/ML, web performance optimization, accessibility, AWS/ElasticSearch, application deployment and management like Kubernetes, micro-services, and relational databases like Postgres/MySQL.

　　You'll write and maintain scalable, efficient code for the Mailchimp You'll work with design and engineering team members to build features from concept through implementation.You'll spearhead efforts to establish patterns and processes and lead the team through examples in your work.You'll develop and enhance new and existing features and investigate and resolve defects.You'll empower team members by providing technical guidance and support.You'll help scope, estimate, and prioritize work.
