About Senior Software Engineer, AWS Resilience Hub (ARH)

  Description

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Come join Amazon's AWS Resilience Hub team!

How often have you had an opportunity to be a founding member of a team solving significant customer problems through innovative technology?

AWS Resilience Hub is a new service that provides customers a single place to define, validate, and track the resilience of their applications so that they can avoid unnecessary downtime caused by software, infrastructure, or operational disruptions.

We are looking for enthusiastic Software Development Engineers who have experience building state of the art software systems. We offer the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and tools, on innovative and sophisticated features that customers love, as part of a team of passionate and experienced Amazon engineers in the multi-cultural environment.

  Key job responsibilities

You play a key technical leadership role on your team, understanding the business and customer need as well as the technology. You drive design, implementation, and delivery. You provide effective communication of your ideas within and across teams to create the right outcomes for your team and customers. The quality and efficiency of your code, design, and implementation set a great example of best practices for engineers. You actively participate in mentorship of others through code and design reviews, helping improve skills, and teaching best practices.
