Work with colleagues to design, build, test, review, and deploy new software features and ensure that the features are reliable, performant, and accessible. Lead complex technical projects, including performing architectural design, scoping tasks, and estimating time requirements. Create team-wide technical documentation, onboard new team members, and identify and address developer needs. Document project plans, support junior engineers on the team, and review contributions from teammates. Provide feedback on team-level goals and technical plans. Design and implement reliable, scalable, and well-structured APIs. Build and test polished, maintainable, and interactive user interfaces. Craft immersive compelling experiences for teachers and students using the latest web tools. Implement logic that handles student work. Optimize software to handle hundreds of thousands of users with stability and security. Ensure existing software continues to function well. Monitor applications, participate in on-call rotations, and fix bugs in the system. Improve workflows, tooling, and customer experience. Provide feedback on the hiring process and interviewing new candidates.
