　　The Data Development, Insights & Strategy team is a highly focused effort to lead digital-first execution and transformation at Red Hat leveraging data strategically for our customers, partners, and associates.

　　We are looking for strong engineers, who can lead the technology and design of significant parts of RedHat’s Data Development Platform for creating next generation product & customer 360 applications. 　　In this role, you will be the voice of Red Hat's technical authority, creating and delivering features/ capabilities around our Product and Customer 360 applications built on our master data management platform that helps Red Hat’s business teams deliver delightful customer experience. As part of the development process you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with members of DDIS, finance, operations, sales, marketing, and product.

　　What you will do

　　Cross-functional work and delivery by executing full software development life cycle.

　　Effectively communicate to stakeholders and project team members to ensure proper visibility into development efforts

　　Scope incoming requests and design solutions, Recommend new technologies and approaches that can benefit the designed solutions

　　Design user scenarios, test cases, and write automated tests

　　Establish and maintain the continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) testing environments

　　Innovate/Create PoC's to solve meaningful business challenges

　　Define, review & execute technical best practices

　　What you will bring

　　Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

　　10+ years of software development experience with a focus on data systems

　　Contribute to the technical design and implementation of data solutions to solve complex business problems

　　Strong experience developing performant data solutions on cloud infrastructure in an iterative manner; experience with technologies such as Spark and/or Kafka preferred

　　Experience in full software development lifecycle including test automation along with CI/CD

　　Hands on technical expertise in relational database systems like SQL Server, Redshift, Oracle, Big Query; expertise with SQL desired

　　Advanced experience with programing languages such as Go, Python, Java; expertise in Java desired

　　Working experience with MDM solutions like Informatica, Data Warehouses like Snowflake / RedShift, ETL tools like Fivetran etc is a huge plus

　　Experience/Knowledge of containers / kubernetes will be a plus

　　Personal qualities and communication

　　Communication skills and experience in interacting with cross functional business and engineering teams

　　Capability in undertaking business needs analysis in direct consultation

　　Motivated with a passion for quality, learning and contributing to collective goals

　　Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills
