　　Azure Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) teams strive to improve reliability fundamentals via software engineering, preferring long-lasting platform improvements delivered as engineering projects over repetitive manual operations, and we are looking to bring on a Senior Site Reliability Engineer!

　　Responsibilities

　　As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, your responsibilities will include the following:

　　Collaboratewith stakeholders to identify user requirements, incorporating feedback and actionable metrics into future designs.

　　Contributeto product architecture, helps create proposals, owns solutions, and ensures security and compliance. Assist in testing plans and automation features.

　　Implementcode for products, services, or features with a focus on extensibility and maintainability. Reviewcode for quality, reliability, and adherence to coding standards.

　　Executeproject plans, breakdown work items, conductexperimentation, and support safe deployment of features.

　　Manage live service operations, act as a DRI (direct responsible individual) on call, integrates telemetry data, and contributes to data analysis for system health.

　　Engineering Excellence: Improve developer tools, contribute to automation in production, ensure compliance with security and privacy, and stay current with industry developments.

　　Maintain communication with key partners across the Microsoft ecosystem to achieve desirable user experiences and meet the dynamic needs of partners and customers through product development.

　　Develop and deliver Relialbity training materials and documentation to be leveraged across the Microsoft SRE community

　　Formulate a strategy to develop and maintain an organization-wide SRE community

　　Qualifications

　　Required Qualifications:

　　6+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration

　　OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration.

　　Other Requirements:

　　Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, OR Python OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

　　OR equivalent experience

　　Site Reliability Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
