  The Team

  We are responsible for harmonizing and optimizing SAPs support & cloud operations processes and parts of security operations on a user-centric, innovative platform, focused on delivering a simple, stable, effective and desirable internal (for SAP employees) and external (for SAP customers) customer service management. Central to this effort is the 3rd Party SaaS platform ServiceNow and its applications IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM) and Security Operations Management (SecOps).By creating this solution, we serve all SAP lines of business and cross teams.

  The Role

  As an IT Business Services Senior Consultant in our team, you will act as a Product Owner for ServiceNow ITOM/SecOps defining detailed technical solutions on our harmonized ServiceNow landscape used by thousands of users across the globe. You will closely collaborate with business owners, product managers, architects, and other experts in an agile environment.

  In your daily business, you will ensure that ITOM (e.g. Event Management or CMDB) or SecOps (e.g. Security incident) demands are transferred in suitable solutions based on our golden standards/guidelines. You closely align with IT and cloud experts and other program roles and drive continuous improvement of our ITOM / SecOps capabilities. You are part of the agile development team to implement new features, integrate new event services and improve the capabilities of our landscape. In the program you are leading based on your deep expertise and dedication to establish reliable solutions.

  Define and implement ServiceNow ITOM/SecOps solutions based on business demands

  Manage product vision and product implementation as part of an agile team

  Guide an agile development team as a product owner

  Know and defend the ServiceNow out-of-the-box capabilities and golden standard & align LoB requirements with NOW Standards

  Supervise the product lifecycle and related artefacts based on SAFe during the quarterly Program Increment phases

  Support Stream in preparing business go-lives

  Support Stream in assessing feature completeness and quality, by e.g. testing from business requirements according to features acceptance criteria

  Support defect handling with platform and integration root cause analysis

  Ensure security policies & standards are fulfilled

  Applying DevOps mindset to take operational responsibility for the provided concepts and solutions

  The Role Requirement

  Academic degree (Bachelor or Master) in Information Technology, Software engineering, business informatics or related fields

  4 years of professional working experience in ITOM / SecOps and deep knowledge of ServiceNow Event

  Experience in large ServiceNow implementations

  Experience in integration of infrastructure and application/cloud services to ServiceNow

  Experience in agile application delivery processes, procedures & agile implementation methods (e.g. SAFe)

  Good knowledge of IT with particular focus on enterprise applications and configuration management

  Leader and team player give guidance and show excellent coordination skills, passionate about execution, motivated and self-managed
