This is a "hunter" role, needed to establish new business relationships, and continue the process of differentiating ourselves from our competitors. The ideal salesperson must be able to demonstrate a high level of skill in identifying and closing top decision-makers within mid-large companies, preferably with multiple office locations. A proven track record in prospecting-via networking and participation in various industry groups and straight cold-calling is a major plus. Qualified candidates must demonstrate the ability to find, manage and maintain service clients, be entrepreneurial-minded, and be a 'strategic thinker that is able to provide the best possible solutions for our clients.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop new business while applying full-cycle methodologies and tools including, identification, qualification, positioning, competitive analysis, and closingManage and grow existing accounts using exceptional sales and relationship building skillsAbility to dig deep and uncover the goals of an organization and fully explain how our clients might be able to help them achieve those goalsResponsible for the development, execution, and delivery of quality solution focused client presentations at a "C" levelDevelop new leads through call calling and networking as well as working with fellow team membersPrepares activity, referrals, and opportunity reportsEffectively communicates and documents activitiesOther responsibilities as assignedEducation and/ or ExperienceCollege degree required in a related field or equivalent experienceMust have 5 plus years of minimum successful software, service, or managed service salesProven ability to listen, extrapolate information, and leverage resources to effectively provide solutions to customer needsAbility to effectively learn technical products, services, and solutions and readily apply new knowledge requiredProficiency in Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, and Internet Explorer is requiredAbility to identify and build relationships with senior-level decision-makersFamiliarity with audiovisual solutions is preferredAccurate and timely forecastingChallenger Sales Training is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and customer interface skillsSuperior time management and problem-solving skillsPossess the ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as independentlyMust have a valid driver's license with a clean record for 3+ years.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
