We are looking for someone with:
Ability to lead detail technical discussion with solution architect, security SME, application and infrastructure support team to come up with viable solution
Strong technical knowledge in Infrastructure technologies including Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL, AIX, Linux, Windows
Strong knowledge in industry security best practice and proven experience in applying security standard into production environment.
Analysis, insight, and problem solving: Ability to collect and collate high volumes of diverse information regarding KPI metric, security settings and risk without becoming overwhelmed. Ability to separate critical and urgent details for integration into planning.
Good collaborative attitude, willingness to work and share knowledge/information with team members
Strong communication, influence and negotiation skills, prior experience with mentoring teams and working in a process driven environment
Nice to Haves:
Proven experience in hands-on developing solution to automate data collection, audit and enforce system configuration
Prior experience in Insurance industries with regional exposure is a big plus
Prior experience in implementing IT Security project / program (Technical hardening, privilege access management, SIEM, Multi-factor authentication, Cryptographic standard)
Experience with compliance and audit activities for enforcement of policies, standards and procedures is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Information Management / Computer Science, with at least 10 years work experience working in IT Industry (application development, Infrastructure Service delivery or IT Security project delivery).
On the job you will:
Engage with GIRM for clarification of standard and policy and ensure the technical solution deployed for Asia can meet the requirement of the security standard
Develop the technical delivery approach for new IRM initiatives e.g., cloud security hardening, domain consolidation and finalize the approach with the solution architect, GIRM, other security SME, Infrastructure, and application support team to derive the technical solution approach for each workstream
Review the change of standard and policy and adjust the technical implementation approach to align with any changes of the policy
Act as the Subject Matter expert for the security standard and communicate the requirement of the policy and standard to all application and infrastructure support team in Asia
Work with application team to handle exception and mitigation control required
