　　Your Responsibilities

　　As a Senior Regulatory Specialist, A ir for John Deere Waterloo Works located in Waterloo, IA you will:

　　Directly responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance for the air programs at six (6) major source facilities in Waterloo, Iowa.

　　Provide technical and process support to site environmental engineers that execute the daily tasks associated with air quality compliance strategies, permitting efforts, and compliance risk reduction projects.

　　Develop guidance and best management practices for Waterloo facilities’ air programs to ensure consistency across the units.

　　Monitor and review regulatory changes to mitigate operational risks associated with regulatory changes.

　　Coach and develop less experienced professionals to further enhance the air quality regulatory knowledge within the company.

　　Maintain close liaison with air regulatory agencies such as Iowa DNR and EPA.

　　What Skills You Need

　　Experience providing technical oversight for air quality regulatory programs.

　　Experience in planning and leading complex construction permitting projects.

　　Experience leading cross-functional teams of environmental and non-environmental professionals.

　　Experience in Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) permitting and Title V air permitting.

　　Experience developing and implementing strategic plans, including gathering both input and buy-in from factory leaders.

　　What Makes You Stand Out

　　Experience working in a manufacturing setting (experience in Foundry operations and non-road engine emissions desired).

　　Experience working with complex air regulations such as National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) and New Source Performance Standards (NSPS).

　　Experience in air dispersion modeling analysis in support of air permitting activities.

　　Education

　　Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
