Description

　　Under general supervision, the Radiologic Technologist assists Radiologists, Cardiologists, and Interventionists in the performance of Interventional, Angiographic and Therapeutic procedures for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients by imaging, monitoring, or scrub assisting for these physicians while maintaining a safe quality patient environment.

　　Required qualifications:

　　Coursework/Training and 2 year formal training in radiology special procedures. Or equivalent educ/experience

　　Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist

　　Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

　　Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

　　Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography Or

　　Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography Or

　　Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography Or

　　Upon hire: National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International

　　2 years of experience as a Special Procedures Technologist.

　　Preferred qualifications:

　　Coursework/Training and participation in continuing education program.

　　2 years of experience in a special procedures or Cardiovascular Lab
