  Job Description:

  Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Quality Control Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to manage and provide leadership for Quality Control personnel, and provide oversight for all quality control inspection activities on assigned project and or functional areas to ensure that products or services provided are in accordance with customer and Parsons requirements.

  What You'll Be Doing:

  Participates in the interview and selection process (including hiring recommendations), and makes staffing assignments in accordance with schedule requirements.

  Conducts performance evaluations and makes appropriate recommendations for required actions, including recommendations for advancement, changes in status, or disciplinary action.

  Manages the salary administration process, including preparing the annual salary plan and recommending salary actions for merit increases and/or promotions.

  Provides leadership for Quality Control support activities for assigned program(s) or project(s) to ensure that products or services provided meet customer and Parsons’ requirements.

  Provides leadership for development and implementation of Quality Control Programs, procedures, resource allocation, and training

  Develops, establishes and evaluates the adequacy of specific programs used to train and test inspection, examination, and testing personnel.

  Qualifies, trains, certifies and supervises all Quality Control personnel.

  Acts as the focal point for construction quality issues and their resolutions.

  Ensures subcontractor inspections/surveillances are performed.

  Reviews and approves Construction Subcontractor Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans and other quality related documents.

  Confirms subcontractor resources are in place to implement these plans.

  Monitors field activities to ensure conformance with Applicable Codes, Standards, Policies, Procedures, Drawings and Specific Contract Requirements.

  Ensures quality inspections/surveillances for Commissioning activities are performed and documented.

  Ensures Construction Quality documentation and records are developed and maintained.

  Interacts regularly with Parsons’ Quality management and executive management , program and project management.

  What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  4-year degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Math, Quality or related field and 10+ years related construction experience, or a High School/Trade School diploma and equivalent work experience (15+ years) is required, as well as previous management experience. ASQ CMQ or CMQ/OE preferred. Evidence of previous certification required. Additional years of education beyond the minimum requirement are considered equivalent to years of related work experience.

  Must be tested for visual acuity and color discrimination as a part of employment.

  USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractor current certification

  AQS Certified Lead Auditor or equivalent auditor training.

  Experience with qualification of vendors and subcontractors

  Experience with fabrication facilities

  Preferred that individuals be certified to perform activities in one or more of the following areas (or subjects): Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Instrumentation and Controls, Civil, Structural, Architectural, HVAC, Welding, Non-Destructive Examination, Receiving, and Special Processes. Certification and/or experience to industry recognized standards, such as USACE - CQM, AWS, ASNT SNT-TC-1a, IEEE, ACI or International Code Council will be required.

  Requires the ability to communicate clearly and interface effectively with a diverse group of professionals

  Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate to all levels of the company.

  Proficient in data collection, analysis and presentation.

  Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access. Requires proficiency in the use of computers and software packages (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.) needed to support the documentation, analysis, and retention of quality records.

  Requires management and leadership capability.

  Salary Range:

  $121,900.00 - $219,400.00
