JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Overview: Peer supporters provide trauma-sensitivedirect peer support to individuals who stay at Monarch House Peer RunRespite. Peer supporters complete necessary documentation and maintainthe cleanliness and safety of the respite environment by completingchores and cleaning tasks. Peer supporters provide over-the-phone peersupport to individuals who utilize Monarch House warmline. Peersupporters collaborate with colleagues to ensure that the vision,mission, and core values of Wisconsin Milkweed Alliance, Inc. (WIMA) arecarried out. Key Responsibilities: Provide peer support to guestsstaying at the respite Provide fill-in coverage at the respite in caseof emergencies so that the respite is staffed 24/7 Have potential guestconversations with individuals interested in staying at the respiteWelcome and complete paperwork with arriving guests Complete departuresurveys and checklists when guests leave Provide peer support throughwarmline calls and document calls in warmline log Complete daily,weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks Ensure respite environment isemotionally and physically safe Maintain communication with and seeksupervision from the WIMA leadership team, which includes FinancialManager, Program Coordinator, Community Coordinator, and ExecutiveDirector. This includes regularly checking and responding to emailcommunication Attend required and optional trainings includingIntentional Peer Support, WRAP, and eCPR Attend required monthly teammeetings and monthly supervision meetings Other duties as assigned***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications:Wisconsin Milkweed Alliance, Inc.
