　　Job DescriptionMott MacDonald is seeking a team leader to join the team in the Boston, NewYork, Texas, Colorado, California or North Carolina offices.

　　This leadership role is responsible for Relay Protection and Controlengineering with detailed design for high-voltage substations. As part of thisrole, the successful candidate will prepare one-line diagrams, three-linediagrams, elementary diagrams and relay panel front view layout.

　　Also to provide:Make decisions regarding engineering complexities and methods. Requires use ofadvanced techniques and modification and extension of theories, precepts andpractices in relation to electrical power systems;Effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling, coordinatingand monitoring of work activities, and coordinating design activities withother multi-discipline project team members;Thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation,calculations;Engineering/technical expertise and guidance in the identification,analysis and resolution of problems;Accountable to provide design activities in accordance with applicable codesand standards, policies and procedures;Mentor and provide guidance to developing engineers within the department;Support the company's goals and represents the company positively andprofessionally;Continuous improvement of job-related, engineering technical andprofessional knowledge, skills and performanceReview the design work completed by his/her Peers and ensure compliance withscope and QA/QC requirements laid down by internal and external clients.

　　Candidate SpecificationYou are a team leader who is comfortable liaising with stakeholders internallyand externally with an exceptional ability to communicate orally and throughwritten correspondence. You have a strong work ethic and take pride andaccountability in your duties and accomplishments as an individual. You haveexpansive experience in consulting environments and understand the importanceof keeping all parties involved in a project updated and in the loop at alltimes.

　　We invite applications from candidates with the following experience;Electrical Engineer with BSEE or higher and 8 or more years experience inprotection and control for high voltage substation design.Knowledge of protective relaying and principles of automation and control forSchweitzer, Siemens, Areva, or ABB protective relay products;A degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized accredited institution;PE - Professional Engineer preferred, not required, however, weencourage the advancement of engineersSalary Range: $100K - $160K - based on experienceBenefits: 401k, medical, dental and vision insurance, STD/LTDdisability, holiday, vacation and sick time, parental leave and companypaid life insurance
